Once the McDonalds corporation came into existence, it revolutionized the fast food industry forever. Introducing the Henry Ford "assembly line" technique in restaurants for the first time, they created their own "Speedee Service System" which many people had not been accustomed to before. This evolved into the attractive idea of quick service and low prices. Thanks to Ray Kroc and his savvy business skills, he was able to expand the McDonald brother's small business into the most well known fast food network today. It has become a fixture on the American landscape and increasingly, the world landscape. McDonalds has reformed the social, economic, and cultural ways since the 1940's.
